Neurodiversity
At Samarkand we understand the need to build teams with unique skill sets, the
team requires individuals with exceptional qualities.
What is Neurodiversity: It is the concept that differences in the human brain
functioning, learning and behaviour are natural variations rather than deficits. It
encompasses conditions such as Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia
emphasising that there is no single ‘right’ way for the brain to work. We promote the
acceptance and values of these differences. We support our clients to recruit
(create the teams), educate (develop the talent), training and support and provide
expert advice.
Our Neurodiversity Statement:
Samarkand is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees
can thrive. We recognise that neurodiversity is a valuable source of creativity and
innovation. We embrace the unique perspectives that neurodivergent individuals,
including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and related conditions, bring to our
team(S).
We are committed to providing personalised workplace adjustments, offering support
that focuses on strengths, and ensuring our recruitment and management processes
are inclusive. We encourage open dialogue and are dedicated to building a culture
where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
